Professor Jerome Reichman has written a number of academic works, including articles, books and policy papers, discussing international trade and intellectual property issues. Some of his research over the past decade has focused on intellectual property rights and access to technologies in developing countries. He has specifically commented on certain aspects of the Agreement on Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property (TRIPS) and its effects on international access to technologies.

The Keynote Luncheon Address will focus on the TRIPS Agreement, international trade and IP issues, addressing particularly the current debate around compulsory licensing of patented pharmaceuticals.
