Bernard J. Kleina, civil rights activist and photographer, served as the Executive Director of the HOPE Fair Housing Center for nearly four decades, and he has produced some of the most innovative and powerful audio-visual presentations on fair and affordable housing. The Smithsonian Institution added thirty of Mr. Kleina's color images of Dr. King and the Chicago Freedom Movement to its collection this year. Mr. Kleina will provide brief remarks about his photographs of King's marches in Chicago in 1966.
